Improving your Productivity with Quick Health Boosters from Dr. Oz

If you're like me, racing around to get everything done, and feel you're short on time to take care of your health, these quick fixes given out by Dr. Oz (love the Dr. Oz Show!) will help you stay healthy quickly so you can stay in shape and alert to successfully run that great business of yours...

Drink this quick cocktail in the evening right before your dinner (your last meal of the day) to ward off sugar ups & downs that can lead to diabetes:  8 oz. of water with 2 teaspoons of white (or red) wine vinegar and 1 teaspoon of Psyllium husk fiber.

Take 200 mg. daily of Grapeseed Extract (in capsule or liquid form) to help prevent cancer.  This is an extremely  potent antioxidant.

Take 2 baby aspirins at night before bed to prevent heart attacks if you're over 40.  The time of day is most important for this.  It helps thin the blood that tends to build up over night.

Research has shown that white vegetables and fruits are key to lowering cholesterol and preventing strokes, so eat several helpings of the flesh of foods (not necessarily the skins) such as: cauliflower, apples, bananas, pears, cucumbers, and more.

To prevent that dreaded hangover from occurring and spoiling any productivity the next day, take 200 mg. of Milk Thistle before drinking any alcohol beverages.  This will boost your liver enzymes.

We all know sugar is not healthy for us, but if you have to have your sugar fix, take 250 mg. daily of Gymnema Sylvestre (it's an Indian name for "sugar destroyer").  You can find it online here or in health food stores very cheaply.  It will counteract the ill effects of sugar and also make sweets not as appealing to you, helping you wean yourself off sugar.

On the contrary, if you have a fixation of salt, take 10 drops of Mistletoe extract in a glass of water daily. Studies have shown that Mistletoe reduces blood pressure and acts as a diuretic, so it helps you eliminate salt through your urine.

So...now that you have some quick fixes for your health to keep you going, next I'll pass on some quick fixes for keeping your youthful appearance while you're staying up all night working hard on your business...

To your success,
       Thea
