Secret formula to making money on Facebook
Traffic = the number of people who visit your web page or Facebook page
Conversion = the percent of your traffic who actually buy
something, so if 100 people visit your page, and 3 of them buy something, that’s
a 3% conversion rate
EPC = Earnings per Click:
this is more important than your conversion rate. EPC = the average amount earned per
click. So if 100 people land on your
page, 3 people buy your offer, and your earn $10 for each sale, then your EPC
is 30 cents. In other words…
EPC = $30 Total
Sales ÷ 100 Clicks = $0.30 Earned per Visitor (per Click).
So…of course, then, the idea is to get the highest EPC
possible. To do this, involves the
product you’re promoting, your conversion rate, whether you have any backend
marketing (selling other items to the same people clicking on your site), and
if you’re paying for your traffic.
Targeted Traffic on Facebook
This is what makes Facebook so valuable…it provides free targeted
traffic for you on a website that’s already highly trafficked. All you have to do is search for keywords on
Facebook related to your products, add them as friends or into your network, and
then promote your products through your Facebook account, Facebook Fan Pages,
and Events.
