To sell products online, you need to be able to receive payments. There are a few options for that, but here I'll just quickly review the simplest and cheapest method - Paypal.
Go to www.Paypal.com and sign up if you don't have an account yet. It will take you to a page to select "Personal," "Premier," or "Business" account. Choose "Premier" for now. There will be no charge and that will allow you to create links and buttons.
Once you've signed up or logged into Paypal, go to the "Merchant Services" tab. There you will click on the "Buy Now" button to create it.
Then it will take you to a page to choose your button type. Click on the drop-down box, and choose the button you want (whatever you click on here will be printed on your button on your web page).
In the "Item Name" box, type the label you want to call your button by so you'll remember what project it is with later when you go back to Paypal (ie: "Caffeine Product 1"). Then type in a price, and go to the bottom and click on "Create Button."
You will then view a screen that shows you the "code" for your button. If you are installing this button on a web page, you will copy all the code there on the screen by clicking on "select code" and install it in the correct place on your web page (there will be directions on the Paypal screen).
If you're putting this button on an email, you'll click the "Email" button, and copy the code from that page, and paste it into an email by clicking on the spot where you want it in your email and hitting "command" and "V" together (again, follow the directions on the Paypal screen).
If you're selling your product by emails (where you have the person email you if they want to buy your product, and you email them back with the Paypal link on it) you will send your customer an email with the Webinar details (links) on it once you receive payment.
Every time you receive a payment through a Paypal link, Paypal will notify you by email. You can then log into your Paypal account to receive your money. Please note that Paypal does take out a very small percentage of whatever you get through them as their payment. That's the way they operate, it's only about 3 or 5 %.
To get your money from Paypal, you will log into your account, and go to "My Account," and then click on "Withdraw." From there, you can have them send you a check (they will charge $1.50 to do this) or you can transfer the money to your bank account (this takes a few days to actually hit your account, but there is no charge).
